DESCRIPTION: NOT A HAT in 100% 120g wool felt, bicolored in burgundy and blue. Entirely molded and handcrafted in France. Its tall, oversized silhouette revisits the cap with a short visor and a sculptural shape. The lacing at the back, a NOT A HAT signature, allows the cap to be adjusted while adding a graphic detail inspired by sneakers and streetwear. A unisex piece, a blend of artisanal millinery and contemporary design.
Manufacturing
Hand-molded on wooden forms and entirely made in France. This takes time, and that is precisely what gives each piece its character. Small variations are part of the process and make each piece unique.
Interview
Dusting
Regularly brush your hat with a soft brush, using gentle and steady strokes.
Steam Refreshing
Briefly expose the hat to steam to revive the felt and reduce sweat marks. Then, brush delicately.
After the rain
- Gently shake to remove excess water
- Stuff the inside with tissue paper to help the hat maintain its shape
- Leave to air dry at room temperature, away from any heat source
- Once dry, brush delicately to straighten the fibers
Each hat receives a water-repellent finish and is treated to ensure optimal longevity.
To extend the life of your hat, limit its exposure to rain and prolonged sunlight.
