The VENICE 101 revisits the cap with a sculptural silhouette and a high crown with angular lines. Entirely molded and handcrafted in France, this unisex ecru wool felt hat is distinguished by its curved visor, visible stitching, and adjustable rear lacing, the signature of NOT A HAT. Inspired by the world of sneakers and streetwear, the VENICE 101 combines artisanal millinery with contemporary design. An original piece halfway between a cap and a designer hat.
Manufacturing
Hand-molded on wooden forms and entirely made in France. This takes time, and that is precisely what gives each piece its character. Small variations are part of the process and make each piece unique.
Interview
Dusting
Regularly brush your hat with a soft brush, using gentle and steady strokes.
Steam Refreshing
Briefly expose the hat to steam to revive the felt and reduce sweat marks. Then, brush delicately.
After the rain
- Gently shake to remove excess water
- Stuff the inside with tissue paper to help the hat maintain its shape
- Leave to air dry at room temperature, away from any heat source
- Once dry, brush delicately to straighten the fibers
Each hat receives a water-repellent finish and is treated to ensure optimal longevity.
To extend the life of your hat, limit its exposure to rain and prolonged sunlight.
